Arduino environment integration

Hi,
A quick question.

Is it possible to attach an OpenBeacon Tag to an Arduino board & read  
data?
I ask because I'm in the middle of constructing an arts installation  
and have just discovered (at the last minute) the gallery is supplying  
all visitors with CCC-Sputnik Tags and I'm  looking at a low cost way  
of reading data from these tags - a unique ID is all that is needed.

After looking around on the www.openbeacon.org site I realized that  
the CCC-Sputnik Tags act as both readers & transmitters so thought I  
could hook into one of them and integrate it with what I've already  
built.
